Tattoo Policies
Policies.
Hello! These policies about deposits, rates, rescheduling, designs, and tattoo space are in place to protect myself as a free-lance artist & to honor both artist’s & client’s time.
I want to create a respectful and safe environment for everyone. From experience, I have these policies in place to set boundaries and prevent “n0-shows”. Please don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions! My DMs or Emails are always open for questions!
Rates.
Pieces are usually priced “hourly” which accounts for the drawing, tattooing time, size, and materials used for each piece.
TATTOO MINIMUM - $350-$400 (no matter how small, each appointment has startup costs and take around an hour.)
DEPOSIT - $150/$200 NON-REFUNDABLE reserves your design & appt time!
COLOR FLASH - usually additional charge
HOURLY RATE - Roughly $350-$400 *sliding scale*
FLAT-DAY RATE - This is for large pieces aka my Full-day Sessions— starting at $1300-$1600 per day. It usually incorporates (1-2+ Hours of drawing time) with (4-6+ hours of tattooing time).
PLACEMENT - For placements on the ribs, sternum, torso, & buttock area usually take longer, which usually may increase the quote. EXAMPLE— Skin needs to stretched out when tattooing. A 3-inch piece on the ribs will be stretched when tattooed and will be around 5-6 inches, and so takes more time.
FLASH EDITS - additional $10-50+ depending on the edits
Deposits & Scheduling.
DEPOSITS - $150 or $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve and confirm your appointment date/time. You will be able to select the available dates on my Calendar that best fit your schedule.
RESCHEDULES - I require an additional $100 dollar deposit to reserve a new date and time. For the 1st reschedule, you lose 50% or $50 of the original deposit. For a 2nd reschedule, you lose the remaining deposit and will need a new deposit to reserve a new date and time.
RESCHEDULES - If it is my fault (maybe an emergency occurred or if I am sick) I will take full responsibility and reach out to you. I can refund your deposit, or we can reschedule without needing an additional deposit!
LATE POLICY - If you are 30 min late, I will lose your original deposit and I will require another deposit to reserve a new date.
“NO SHOWS” = You will lose your deposit and be blacklisted for the future. Please do not be afraid to reach out if you need to reschedule.
EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES - I hope people can be honest with me, I am willing to listen. For extenuating circumstances, I will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis.
Designs.
Pricing varies for each piece depending on the size, color, and placement. A piece with basic black lining takes the least amount of time. Pieces with more shading take longer and require more materials. Pieces with color require the most time and require more materials as well.
For small & simple pieces, appointments take approximately 1 hour and the price will be around my Minimum $400. For small pieces, it may take an average of 1-2 hours price will range between $450-$700+.
For medium pieces, appointments take approximately 3-4 hours and the price will be around $750-$1200.
For larger pieces or multiple pieces, these appointments will be charged at my Full-Day rate $1300-$1600. Some larger pieces, may take multiple full-day sessions.
FLASH - All available Flash designs are my pre-drawn pieces posted to my Instagram! Flash is repeatable up to 3 times.
FLASH EDITS - Requests to change the color/add color/or minor change in design, it is considered a Flash Edit. For edits, it should still maintain the integrity of the design! There will be an additional $20-$50+ fee depending on the final edited design.
CUSTOMS - For Customs, the rate is my flat-rate design fee of $100 + “tattoo time”. I usually will have a draft ready for you at your appointment and hold a full consultation with you before we start tattooing. This includes talking through placement, finalizing design, and editing. Overall, I want it to be a collaborative process. ***I usually do not send designs prior to your appointment***
